COSMIC THOUGHTS
Cosmic Thoughts
Would there be a heaven if there was no earth
Could its being still exist for Mars
Would its red, dead eyes know its worth
Or would they just enjoy the stars?
Would there be a king on Venus
Maybe a queen of the sphere
If so would their golden glory
Surpass angels if they should appear?
Would the inhabitants of Orion
Experience some spiritual rush
Can they feel nature’s life force
Of a tree, flower, a bush?
And in this vacuum of contemplation
Do doubts fly by like dust
Is it possible like intrepid Earthlings
They would just hold on to trust?
