Cosmic Love

Gazing through my telescope I saw two galaxies elope They merged together beautifully Twisting and turning elegantly They danced around a burning sun Eventually, becoming one Clouds of dust swirled around Flashing colours, perfection found Stars and planets were pulled towards The centre of a huge dwarf A burst of light, so intense Became so bright, then so dense Now in its place, I could see A huge black hole spinning furiously The galaxies now entwined The marriage blessed, but redefined From within the giant beast A star pulsating, born, released Gathering light that was disbursed The brilliance of our universe © Copyright 29th November 2010 K.C.Leake
