Coronation Blues

Here comes another king
walking towards his
       home
he awaits the
     touch of his queen
             which will cause
him to glow tonight
Let the night speak
for itself
The lords and ladies
    of this land
know the score by now
We're all noble
From the lowest
   to the highest
We have been created
   for a purpose
This purpose may
  not be know to
us
But underneath
the veil
    We carry beams
of starlight
      We glow with
the joy of
existence
     Everyone has
a part to play
From a small child
To aging patriarchs
and matriarchs
    The dream
which we began
    Will continue
onward through all the years
of our lives.... and beyond

You must be an artist, such as a painter, or perhaps, u draw. You allign your poetry so pretty. I agree with the message of things happen for a reason as well, though sometimes I can be the queen of "why"? We do carry beams of starlight, (very creatively used) as I have learned the meaning behind that all too well. lol Great poem, Matthew.

Matthew, you write my heart, my dear - we are all stars - yes, it's true, and you write it so well, my dear! So glad I'm not alone in my visions and truths. Blessings, Kristin
