Cornered
Hope is lost
Dashed aside
Tears are falling
From swollen eyes
Desolate and trapped
Huddled in the corner
Boundaries vast
Freedom's dreams are dimmer
Puny justice, my own
Fighting for my right
Secrets untold, yet
Looking for a light
Goals of the past
Become the future
Goals of the present
Lack the hope forever
