Cookie
Mommy?
Can I have a cookie?
It won't spoil my dinner.
I promise to eat what's on my plate.
Mommy?
Just one more cookie.
It would make me happy.
I'll tell all my friends that you are great.
I know I'm allowed only two
But please, I am begging you.
I'm asking nicely, this is not a whine.
Just one more cookie'd be fine.
A cookie!
Mommy?
You sure look pretty.
Is that a new outfit?
I don't think I've seen it before.
Mommy?
You know that I love you.
Oh, please, one more cookie
And I will not ask for any more.
I know you've already said no
But I hope it's not set in stone.
Maybe you could change your mind
Just one more cookie'd be fine.
A cookie!
