Convict Chose the Wrong Victim

The convict was running from the police.
He chose the wrong woman to rob.
She had grown up with eight brothers.
When he yelled for her to “get out” of her own car
She began to whale on him. She hurt him badly.
He had been hurt less in prison during a jump.

She was interviewed on the news after she hogtied him
And telephoned the police, who were there in minutes.
He is dangerous, they told her. You are lucky.
The convict felt lucky when they showed up.
He was afraid she was going to continue to hurt him.
He was yelling for the cops to come and get him.

She said, “I’ve decked bigger men than him."
Her brothers saw her on TV and cheered.
Knowing they had done what they could
To keep their baby sister safe.
Feeling the pride of brothers.
The convict did not understand what had happened.
He had never had seven brothers.

Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear of your grandaughters dreadful experience, I trust she is on the mend in both bones and mind. All best wishes to you and family.

She is sad because she is a senior in high school and she did not know people could be evil in this world, and she is hurting but she will be okay.

He certainly got what was coming to him. Made me think about how your granddaughter is doing.

She is very sad because so many things that she wanted to do are being done without her - her final bowling tournament, etc. but I think sad because she ever expected to be car-jacked. She does not understand why she was chosen. There is a reason for everything though.

She is fiction but based on my granddaughter who was car-jacked a week ago tonight. He threw her out of her car twice - the second time after she jumped in on his lap and tried to get her keys out of his hands. He ran over her foot with her own car breaking it in 16 places and she had to have a two hour surgery. None of us are happy with this felon.
