Conversations With Myself
I see the pain in your eyes.
I see the blood in your tears.
I wonder how much longer
You'll hold in your fears.
I long to see that smile
That has been hidden.
There's something inside you.
Something you hold within.
I'm afraid of losing you.
For, if I lose you, I lose myself.
I see now that I no longer
Seek for any help.
As you go away,
I feel us slipping apart.
I don't know how to live
Without my own heart.
