Conundrum
Nothing like a child's curiosity
It seems to regurgitate out of them
With everything let loose and set free
To seek and hide and capture without any animosity
All we have to do is to let them be
And yet we curb and strangle their choices
With Rights and Wrongs and "you have to be" voices
Directing their sense of where they are aimed
Like an arrow that's shot in the air unrestrained
To land unintended without a reason or purpose
Forgetting where I am standing!
