Control Freaks

Some People get their kicks from TV
Some people get their kicks from the earth
But others get their kicks from stealing
What certain people are worth

They are all obsessive
Playing an awful game
Based on personal habits
Causing people pain

They look to profit
From other people’s lives
Ignoring any innocence
For control they strive.

For once they possess you
You can’t get away
They’ll make your life a misery
Each and every day.

Try and ignore them
Because they just can’t stand
Anyone who’s brave enough
To fight to keep their land.

Rise up above it all
And then you will be free
Wish I could say that I have
But not quite yet for me.
