CONTRASTS
The swishing of a gentle breeze
is like music to the ear.
The howling of a stormy wind,
is a change that may bring fear.
The gentle rolling tide of sea
is a scene of peaceful calm.
But the roar of angry waves
can be heard with some alarm.
Soft falling showers of rain
to the garden brings new life.
A flooding deluge of water
can bring much damage and strife.
The morning warmth of sunshine
springs forth a beautiful day.
When a day turns scorching hot
it can cause us some dismay.
So contrast in life rolls on,
each day whether dark or fair,
whatever waits around the corner
know God is always there.
