Consummation in life, the just reward
Complete satisfaction, confident smile
During smooth sailing and on through discord
Mixed emotions all over reconcile
Success in the end for that extra mile
Consummation of marriage, pure delights
Pleasures discovered, mouth watering sights
Bodies entangled, a passionate mesh
Euphoria reaches staggering heights
Both husband and wife becoming one flesh
Consummation of family, vast joys
Nurturing, caring for, all the details
Unreserved love throughout tranquil and noise
In life’s ups and downs, togetherness sails
One foremost focus that nobody fails
Consummation in death, eternal soul
Accomplished in life, the heavenly goal
The race ran on earth, a burdensome test
Called from above to play out this tough role
Well done faithful servant, enter God’s rest
