Constant Truth
Why I chose the poetry stage name: Constant Truth
I constantly speak truth
But you may not like to hear it.
I always speak the truth
And I’m sorry if you fear it.
I use honesty with tact;
I don’t intend to cause harm.
I am Constant Truth,
There’s no cause for alarm.
My name is Constance;
My mother named me right.
I stay the same, constant,
Despite the change in sight.
Lies hurt more than truth
And I’m not a Constant Liar.
If you want the truth,
Then step into my line of fire.
