Consider the Lilies
Consider the lilies, how they neither spin nor toil
Their loveliness is God-given; they show us purity
They never realize by themselves in the fertile soil
Consider the lilies, how they neither spin nor toil,
Seems nothing their regal white crowns can spoil
Tall and proud, standing guard with trumpet clarity
Consider the lilies, how they neither spin nor toil,
Their loveliness is God-given; they show us purity.
