-Consequences Unforeseen

Young and wild
Just wanting to be seen
Doing things she knew little about
Consequences unforeseen

Her parents did what they thought best
For their beloved child
She returned home a different girl
A sorrowful being…no longer wild

Life was good ….she was fulfilled
The years passed happily by
Yet there was a constant ache and emptiness
A loss and grief that did not subside

It took so long to organise
Now the day was finally here
A whirlwind of emotions consumed her
Nerves ,uncertainty, fear

As she nervously approached
He turned and smiled
Before her stood her baby boy
A man….with his arms opened wide!
