Conscience and Salvation
Suffering endlessly, birth after birth
For past sins reborn again on earth
Is there a respite from this situation?
A simple way for our salvation?
God our father loves us a lot
Our suffering saddens him a lot
For our benefit, out of pure love
So that free soul flies to him like dove
He has placed a conscience within us
A nagging voice that constantly guides us
Whenever we are about to sin
It warns us before we begin
Loving God has given us free will
If we don't listen and act as per our will
It will prick us continuously, for rest of our life
To ensure we don't repeat and increase our strife
For sin punishment is ordained
What is sin in scriptures explained
Still humans often err
Making life a nightmare
Sins give birth after birth
When sins end there is no rebirth
Just be aware of conscience
Always follow your conscience
That way you will never sin
Soon salvation you will win
No sin, no suffering, joy abounds
Bliss and peace surrounds
Conscience shows how much God loves us
It is a proof, God is with us, wants us.
Come back to me says God, with loving arms outstretched
In our minds his voice should be forever etched.

So many people sinning around
Others easily they wound
No control over their senses
No thoughts about consequences
They snub the voice warning inside
Then in proving they're right, preoccupied
If giving flimsy reasons for their act
Their conscience pricks a hidden fact
Why do that which makes you repent
Think all as God, sins you will prevent
When lord himself is telling you
Why not obey Him and do?
Look at all those suffering around
That is because their past sins abound
You would not want to be in their shoes
With your actions, your life you choose
When you suffer, God cries
That's why to stop he tries
Please do listen to him
Deep within peace will brim!
