Congressional Values

I watch our liberal congress with little admiration
As they show their family values to our entire nation
They say if you don’t have time for children
Because you’re in a hurry
Just murder them before they’re born
Then you won’t have to worry
It would be nice just for once
To believe in some of the things they said
But they have to call a proctologist
When they can’t find their head
So I dreamed I went to Washington
To ask them to change course
But I found that I was talking to
The north end of a south bound horse
Before congress goes into session
They pass around large receptacles
I thought they were collecting documents
But they were collecting testicles
In order to clean out Washington
The Pied Piper would be nice
Although we voted for human beings
We seem to have elected mice
 It’s time to elect people
Who aren’t afraid to say what they think
Than have the same old congress
With the same old stink.

a very good write. even if we get some one good in office, they are always to busy trying to please special groups, instead of doing what is best for the country and God.

Vince I was wondering what was in that receptacle.Hmmm, Now I know. You got my vote for all the good it would do. I still think they ought to reinstate the popular vote. I guess they don't have that many fingers and toes to count that high, Ron

He he he he. No matter what country or what race or what creed, ALL politicians are the same!!!! All they seem to care about is what suit they will wear tomorrow and how much their household security is. And the rest of the country be da@!#ed!!! Scrupleless(if there is such a word) and shameless, that's what they are!!! Well done for making your voice heard, lets hope there is a politician out there that notices!!! Peace Fathima

very good i liked the rhyming and the ideals about change. but are they changing or are they pretending to change. i'm not pro choice. i just believe life begins when God breaths into it the breath of life. and it is He who decides. thank you for your welcome welcome comments. as always john

This one made me laugh, Vince!! I love the political "description's"...that only you could come make so comical! (Considering congress is such a serious business). I'm trying hard not to visualize a few of those lines....but you make your point very well!! I admire your convictions and honest look at things, and respect your stand! Great way to express your opinion!! God Bless!! ~Carrie
