Congressional Hearing

Congressional hearing
Yes, I’m listening to your
Non-existent thoughts
Fighting for nothing
Standing for something
And I’m begging to be caught
Understand that you are made up of
Lines
While you’re hoping to be given more time
Pasted up feelings
Yes, I’m hanging on your
Every dying breath
Fighting for your life
Standing up no where
And you’re begging to be kept
But losing in short time, my friend
For thoughts are always constant
But your body’s bound to end
