Confusion Dies

(Acrostic) Can't you see me I'm right here Once so close now no where near Never thought it'd end like this Friendship tossed in the abyss Underneath this steel facade Sadly confused on I plod In a door then out once more Only time has made us quit Not at once but bit by bit Doors I dare open to peek Invite light of hope I seek Excited that this is why Shadows of confusion die

Thanks Cheryl! Very astute observation actually. I wrote the first part quite a while ago but thought it was way too dark. Recently I added the "dies" part to "kill off" the first part and ironically make it more "upbeat"....anyway I do appreciate the comment............80).........Pat
