CONFUSED WORLD
To hear you say you don't want me left me so confused,
Like a whisper in the night, it cut me, left me bruised.
I thought our love was solid, built on dreams we shared,
But now the echoes linger; I've lost the way we cared.
Every word you spoke felt like a gentle breeze,
Wrapped around my heart, brought me down to my knees.
Feeling lost in shadows, searching for the light,
In this twisted tale of love, where did we lose the fight?
When I thought our love was true, how could I have been so blind?
Every promise whispered low now feels like a bitter rhyme.
In the silence, I can hear the echoes of your name.
What happened to forever? Guess love’s a fickle game.
Late nights lying restless, chasing memories away,
When all I wanted was to hear you softly say
That we could find tomorrow, rebuild the things we've lost,
But now my heart's a puzzle, struggling to count the cost.
Every laugh we shared now feels so far apart.
I see your shadow dancing, but it’s tearing at my heart.
With every lonely moment, I search for what was real,
In the silence, breathless echoes tell me how to feel.
But if the stars align and the moonlight guides the way,
Maybe we can find our hearts where love's not led astray.
In the depth of silence, can we find our way back home?
Can we break through these walls, or are we forever doomed to roam?
To hear you say you don't want me left me in dismay.
Guess love’s a lesson learned in its own cruel way.
But I’ll hold on to the memories, the dreams of what we knew,
And hope that somewhere out there, I’ll find the love that's true.
