Confused

Alas! I`m in a
confused state,
As I wonder in
perpetual
restlessness
B
Bind by different
thoughts that are
not mine,
I keep remembering
the good old days
C
Caught in the middle
of fights that I
don`t know of;
I mellow down to
understand this
misery
D
Desperately looking
for answers to solve
these problems,
I swim in false
imagination of a
better tomorrow
E
Even though I have
doubts and fear,
My optimism is
lengthy and deep
F
Failure is running
behind me with
vigor,
Which makes me pant
like a wild dog
G
Goodness and mercy
are shadows of
themselves;
Many are not keen in
practicing them
H
How can I survive
in a world of
selfishness?,
Where greediness and
oppression linger
continuously
I
I weep for the
innocent children
and orphans,
As their rights are
been relegated and
denied
J
Jobs are not
available for
able-bodied youth,
Now they engage in
nefarious activities
and idleness
K
Knowing that danger
is imminent or near,
I`m so keen to look
for a way of escape
L
Life is no longer
smooth and easy,
Which has made some
to go into solitary
confinement
M
Men of valor turn
into wingless
chickens;
While virtuous
mothers cry like
bush babies

No hope for the
newborns and no
faith in adults,
As leaders usurp
power and maltreat
the electorates
O
On several
occasions,promises
made were not
fulfilled;
As wealth is
acquired and stock
into private
accounts

Plights of the poor
masses fall into
oblivion;
As everyone fights
for his own selfish
interest
Q
Quite sincerely
,where are the
saints and martyrs?,
Are they all gone or
are they all in
coma?

Racing against time
is the new order and
concept,
People are in a
hurry to get rich
and famous
S
Seriously speaking
security is no more
Are we safe?,Eighty
human heads found in
sacks

“Tomorrow it shall
be well”-it`s a
fallacy,
for the future looks
like a mirage in
arid land

Universally diseases
spread like wide
fire,
Cancer ,Aids ,Lassa
fever and now
Ebola..
V
Very soon money will
be voted for the
control of
These diseases which
is going to be
embezzled
W
When would the good
and righteous ones
rule the world?,
Time is running out
and I`m getting
impatient
X
X-ray carried out
shows that more
people are dying
Of high-blood
pressure due to
stress and lack of
rest
Y
Yet the leaders are
less concern as they
flourish
in corruption and
bask in the euphoria
of their office
Z
Zealots are losing
interest for they
are discouraged,
By this show of
shame and cosmetic
display.
