I thought we had an agreement,
How our relationship would be
It's only been a few weeks,
And you are already pushing me.

I said it would take time,
Right now, I need to heal,
But you seem to think you have the right
To tell me how to feel.

I told you I would let you know,
When I was ready to try again,
Just because you're my father,
You think I should let you in.
