Confused
Confused
See him standing there, he’s thinking
He is staring, but now too long
He stopped walking for some reason
And I’m wondering what is wrong
He keeps thinking, he keeps staring
I don’t know at whom or what
What on earth could be the problem?
Was it something he forgot?
And his staring is so piercing
Now I am a little scared
But what happens next, I tell you
I was really not prepared
Just one grab and he starts walking
It was quick, but I did see
As he walks away while eating
I am thinking, ‘How can this be?’
I am shocked, I am bewildered
I am sad, I am confused
I had never seen this coming
And I was really not amused
As I struggle to perceive this
Tears have welled up in my eyes
Though well-dressed, the man his doing
Really caught me by surprise
But I wished it didn’t happen
And I still can’t take it in
Now I know not only beggars
Eat out of a garbage bin.
