Confound
Fog rushes swirling, a vortex
Damp confusion surrounds
Cool but heavy air adds pressure
Concerns seem to confound
Then the chirps of Whip-Poor-Will
One to my left, then right
Their songs a simple tweet chorus
Morn's symphony delight__
The Dove awakes from night's slumber
Their coos echo through trees
A simple song, few notes' melodies
Sung just for you and me
How can life become so hurried?
So concerned with things?
Did modern materialism
Self-centeredness bring?
