Notes About The Poem

Confined

Languishing inside a cell(his demons) so fierce
        and punishing; isolating loneliness pierce
the core of his misery. Every so often,
he feels claustrophobic, as if inside a coffin.

Wow! Excellent writing, Edward. Especially liked the reference to feeling like you are in a "coffin." Isolation does make us feel that way! Best wishes in the contest. Hugs, Carolyn
