Confidence

Why do I always doubt my tales, And get hung up on small details, That probably no one will see, That is except observant me? I am of course my own worst critic, And my opinion’s quite granitic. Is my work really a mess? Why do I always second guess? I’d like to say in my defence, I’m simply lacking confidence.

I can identify with this, Sharon and I think most writers can...I constantly second guess myself. Even if a poem of mine is well recieved and people tell me how good it is, I still manage to find something wrong with it...As I said, most writers probably go through the same thing...very nice poem! - Tim
