Confessions of a Young Mind

I see you walking past
And looking in my direction
We say hi here and there
But both to shy to say anymore
You probably like me as much as I like you
But both of us too scared to tell each other
I believe you are the one
That God has sent to me
But when I do say more
All you can say is hi as you look to the floor
Couldn’t even look me in the eye
But later you tell me all you do is cry
I am now lost through all your emotions and feelings
Not knowing what to do or say
I picture different ways I can ask you
But I keep changing my mind and never get the chance to
So maybe you weren’t that person
That God had assigned to me
But you are that person
Who confessed that you always loved me
