Confessions In the Rain

impassioned sky mumbles tasteless rain
a soaking measly carapace collects  muddy remains
weather overbears a confessing cloud.

this is lovely but the syllable count is supposed to be 5=7=5 for a haiku for Carols contest, just a heads up
