Confession of a Teenager

Beauty in the mirror,

Within lies horror.

The mirror speaks,

His approval Iseek.

Within Iam hollow,

The flow I follow.

Ihave no identity,

I only have my vanity.

I laugh within the crowd,

Inside I shout out loud.

They say they're friends,

They only follow trends.

A dream has more reality,

We only live for our vanity.

A doll is more alive than we,

And yet a doll we seek to be.

We are the real lies,

We live, our soul dies.
