Confession of a Passionate Pain

In your eyes were promises that seemed faithful and true But I was blinded by love and deceived by you. Brokenhearted, I was abandoned at sea To drown in passion’s agony It hurts being the only one in the relationship who wants an encore dance with love. In my heart, I imprison hopes and sweet memories of us. Because 1000 pieces of my fragile heart shattered and ripped into the flesh of my soul As my pulse dropped deep and my body got cold. How could you walk over my struggling body into another lover’s arms? I remain in solitude in the vigorous rain Soaked with heaven’s teardrops standing near your window pane. Wishing that you would let me through the front door. But the more you lie in your new lover’s arms the more I am ignored.
