Condolences
For my friend, the year ends on a black note
Cause he's lost a father he looked up to
And now he goes into the new year in a new note
A strange tone cause he's not used to
It will take time before we all come to terms
At just how much this death means to us
I could paint a picture but I'd still lack the terms
To truly express the sorrow I feel is with us
It's sad that you gone at a time when we looked forward to a new year
We were just taking count of how the year has been
But now we here shedding a hard tear
Of what has transpired, what has been
And it's great friends and family are here to console him
I'm sure he appreciates it's just the circumstances are hard
We have to keep being there for the family and him
And it's great how we all here as soon as we heard
Sorry my friend, sad to see your dad is no more
And I know words don't console but atleast know,
that you in our thoughts and many more
It's a hard time now but that's the way of life you know
