Concrete Words
The Soul that's weighted down will float like concrete -
Erase these rocks from my feet.
I will not know defeat, even as Freedom freefalls,
Though, Time's burnt my bridges and words stand as walls.
To hatemonger's calls I will pay no heed
Expression, and Movement, my dynamic steed!
See, the creed that I claim was squandered unknown
In flood swells and blood-knells - their consequences shown.
The dove's flown a trail, means miles for me...
'Til concrete is cracked, 'til from words we live free.
