Conclusion In Black and White

Don't let darkness
     frighten you
   The bright light of
a new dawn is coming
      Beaten down, we fear
shadows as as they move onto
       the fields and the homes
of our land
  Yet in the gloom
     a thin beam
   of hope
Pierces the air
       The long
night is ending
        the hopes
of the multitude
    are realized
A thousand faces
      will light up
Joy will conquer sorrow
      Songs will reverberate
in the hills once more
   peace and understanding
will become the bywords
in this land
     which had been torn
by strife will now experience
         a peaceful re - birth

I hope you're right, Matt. Some say "hope springs eternal," but I haven't been seeing much of it lately. Very good observation of what is happening worldwide today as we await "a peaceful rebirth."
