Composed Into the Hollow Death of Time

These storm-swept skies in empty eyes
Confound, confuse, but can't deny
The sights once seen within the night
Now lost from memory and sight

So say to me what I can't see
So tell me I'm supposed to be
So hear the soft and silent cry
That fades from all of space and time

All transience is heaven's sense
Life falls and fades from what is meant
A word composed; a thought now lost:
All that betray what life has cost
