Communion With The Self

Communion With The Self

Communion with the elements of the self that went missing

Reunion with the moments left on the shelf while reminiscing

Confusion that surrounds good health and what we’re missing

Distribution done in stealth while they insist upon dismissing

Aggrandisement of the self to the detriment of your neighbour

Self-Advertisement about wealth and what they’re willing to savour

Disenfranchisement that’s been dealt to the last of the tiger tooth sabres

Encirclement of the circumference as they try with war to wager

Enchanted compositions that bring about more purpose

Supplanted by these visions that seem to stream through with a surplus

Of expanded inquisitions that have come from history’s conquests

As demanded impositions only serve to demean the corpus

Illuminating thoughtful reflections of the reasons for being human beings

Ruminating on remorseful inflections that haunt me in my dreams

Culminating in good intentions I sit quietly and in silence scream

Consecrating the inventions as all is not what as it seems

Servitude to interludes that come around too briskly

Gratitude for people who give with out thoughts of what their risking

Multitudes who are in the mood for something to avoid the misery

Attitudes of those who are too rude to give some time to someone who is sinking
