Coming of Nuclear Age

The seas run rife with radiation debris
Fallout from two nations' agony
Standing firm as the skin peels away
from the Bomb that has been delivered Today
Woes and heartache for the citizen decay
As 2 infants come of nuclear age this way
The plot thickens as our ideals are smashed
Both economies and their prosperity have crashed
Hovering over the remnants city
Atomic sad faces are crying in pity
Cold is the Forest red
Every ant or mammal is dead
Such is the ways of Man
Too late to learn the follies of his hand
