Coming Into Your Own
I hear that you’re saying that you’re trying to grow
Well it’s not impossible
Your smile is brighter and I can see your beautiful glow
Whatever you may need just let me know
It’s all about you, do what you do, just so you’ll know
I’m your friend, your guard and your crew
I heard that you’re more positive
Good for you, just the opposite
Of the one who use to cuzz and fight
I’m glad you left that life
I heard you got your PhD
Your Public High School degree
As in a diploma, you can do whatever
You want like an Obama
It’s not about smarts, it’s about timing
Seeking and finding
Find your niche in life
And it will eliminate strife
Believe in yourself
And you’ll live a peaceful life
