Coming Home

Coming Home

Coming home to you fills me up beyond my dreams
With all your loving ways my heart gives thanks and beams

We both look up with gratitude as we radiate our joy
And together we stand as one like the first love of a girl and boy

We have been together for many years that this world does not know
That we have shared many lives together as through eternity we go
Together we were born and joined by God’s good plan
You have always been apart of me since all time began

I know that I’m not perfect and sometimes let you down
But you make me feel like a king on a thrown with a golden crown

And I know we enjoy the simple things and will never be alone
As I cherish that simple thing to you love coming home
