Come With You
Come with me, take my hand and don’t let me go
Let’s feel our way through the ocean’s sand
Drink in my seawater and keep swimming low
I’m glad our sorrows are but a small fraction of this land…
Let’s absorb the depths of the beautiful unknown
Let’s scan our surroundings and be mind-blown
Blind to say the least, but I can see now
Don’t mind my naïve ways somehow
Forget about our issues and start over again
Where has our minds and hearts been?
I hear the pounding of your heart against my chest
I’ll tell you my deepest secrets at my very best
Now, let’s rise above the waves like brave dolphins with spontaneous delight
Sooner or later, we will burn away these waters of woe in our lives alright
I might have lost my way with you…
Perhaps, you and I lost our mind too…
Hold your breath through the aquatic flames
I promise I won’t play those childish games
Anymore…anymore…
As long as we meet the shore…
We have lots of land to explore…
We have already met the sea’s floor…
Save us from disaster and find us like a hidden shell
Why do you say those words of unriveting disappointment?
Keep on discovering the light at the end of the tunnel
You are a vibrant sight tonight, so bury away resentment
I implore you to stay by my side till you can figure your way out of this cave of catastrophe
I promise I won’t subside, even if the abyss tide swallows me whole in contemptable captivity
Let there be midnight merriness and mesmerizing madness
It’s our destiny to have confidence instead of ugly distress
Triumphant spirits like ours should have jubilance always
Stray away from rancorous, lethargic lament and let’s have more pleasant days!
I’m positively certain that we can tread the road of recovery
Believe me when I echo encouragement towards your demanding reality
I’m trying to be genuine and empathetic towards you everyday
Unity and intimacy will warm our High Spirits and freeze away dismay
I need control over my ever-whirling brain that toils in doubt’s river
I want your integrity to terminate the treachery I come into contact with in the world of hardships and peace is but a blur
War will not create harmony within us
We are on the topsy-turvy and bumpy bus
Let’s repair the ship in our friendship and have faith that love can mend all scars
Let’s not drown in the sea of sadness and dive in the mourning mist…instead, let’s be like the illuminated stars of who we truly are – resilient and brave above the bars
Please don’t be drenched in the silent wars of our complicated lives
Forgive our misgivings and abominations that we carelessly did…wait till hope and mercy arrives
Before we come undone
Before our lives be done
Fight our way out of our puddles of pains…
For, believe me, everlasting happiness reigns
Come with me, take my hand and don’t let me go
Let’s run away into the forest of frivolous fearlessness
Flourish like the vivacious violets in the meadows
I’m glad our sorrows are but a small fraction of this land…
We can wander beyond the iridescent shore…just don’t look down at our shameful shadows – look up at the glistening glows of the elegant crows
