Come What May

There’s this pain in my brain It’s been driving me insane The rain has been pouring down In this town of many-a-frown I’ve tried hard To be this bard I’m on my own, Feeling alone But, come what may Come what may Say what you want to say I’ll say what I need to say Come what may… Come what may… The Arizona sun's out today Honey, I want you to stay Don’t you stray today…today… But, come what may Come what may Engrossed in awful discouragement I need some godly encouragement I don’t want to be in distress I don’t want to feel hopeless If I do, come what may Come what may But, today is what I’m looking forward to – who knew Tomorrow is a day away and yesterday is gone too I’ve tried hard To be this bard I’m on my own, Feeling alone But, come what may Come what may Say what you want to say I’ll say what I need to say Come what may… Come what may… The Arizona sun's out today Honey, I want you to stay Don’t you stray today…today… But, come what may Come what may Bewildered and oh so scared I feel unbearably unprepared I don’t want to be sad no more I did adore you, but not anymore You hurt me to the core What am I waiting for? I should just forget you I should just forgive you But, come what may Come what may I’ve tried hard To be this bard I’m on my own, Feeling alone But, come what may Come what may Say what you want to say I’ll say what I need to say Come what may… Come what may… The Arizona sun's out today Honey, I want you to stay Don’t you stray today…today… But, come what may Come what may Come what may… Come what may… Everyday and today… Come what may… Come what may… I bow down and pray… You’ll be safe and sound I’m no longer alone and bewildered Going round and round Away from the cold, heartless herd I’ll be brave and oh so strong, Even though I won’t belong Yes, come what may… Oh, come what may… Please come what may… In the beautiful, marvelous month of May…
