Come And See

Jesus and John came face to face
Both were filled with God's grace
Jesus came to save the human race
Inquisition was made of Jesus' dwelling place

He answered them with, "Come and see"
Even though salvation was free,
Following Jesus proved to be pricy

Jesus had no housing for shelter
No chair for sitting comfortably
Nor for his body a sleeping bed

Foxes had holes, and birds had nests
But Jesus had no where to lay his head
And like then, Jesus invites us presently,
"Come and see"
