Comands
Wandering and alone
I walk down this path
the thorns scrape at my shins
and catch in my skin
while dusk haunts the skys
no moon or sun sitting up high
the trees loom over my head
casting shadows of the dead
quiet flutters of wings
as an owl coos at me
my bare feet stay clean
walking the paths known to me
once covered in grass
now a worn dirt path
beneath the barely rose moon
a white dress glows
sliding shapelessly over my form
as i drift away from the doorms
into the wild woods
where it is just i, no other kids
a white lilly crown on my head
like a hippy they said
hair hangs low
glowing less red, more gold
straight as a pin
without the rain
nails pure
no color, they're bare instead
silver shines touching my light eyes
as i walk my pilgrimage
walking out of sight
near the mid of night
to hunters i might be
a nymph or fairy
walking through they see
a sign saying tonight do not kill thee
thy lord commands
as i am christened by his hands
i walk through all thats left of his lands
the path that i made
in the woods
i am brave
knowing
that as i am
the lord will protect me
for it is as he commands
