Colourful Food

She lives in passion past her eyes
Underneath the dying skies
It’s alright when you’re alive
Living when you can decide

She still believes in everyone
Even when they don’t belong
It’s okay to dance along
Even when there are no songs

I want to hold her to her words
So naïve and undisturbed
I want to tell her what I’ve heard
But now I see this is absurd

Wander on into her fear
The only way I can be near
Find a way to be sincere
To trick her heart, to bring her here

She’s the only one I need to find
This animal has lost his mind
She is colourful inside
But this animal will eat her alive
