Notes About The Poem

Colors and Shades Part Two

Written: August 21, 2023 ______________________________________________________________ Humble and merciful, regardless of fame, We are all equal, no one to blame. No matter the color, status, or creed, Love is the essence, the most burning seed. Join hands and express unconditional love. As a planet of colors—blessed from above. A world of colors, diverse and grand, Where gather people from all races and land. From the darkest black to the purest white, Mixed races blend in flawless delight. The sublime beauty of our diversity, Is a gift that we should cherish, you foresee. For in this world, there is no room for hate Only love, acceptance, and a proper slate. We are all children of this planet we share, No matter our beliefs, our color, or our flair. So let us be wise, let us be kind, Let us be truthful in our hearts and mind. For it is through love and understanding, That we can create a world so outstanding. In this world, the rich and the poor, Stand together, united forevermore. Married or childless, it matters not, For wisdom and intelligence are what we've got.

Kindness anytime, everyday, is my slogan in life too, you rhyme even when you pass on such an important and much needed reminder to us all, to stay kind, accept all colors, there shouldnt be discrimination in such poetic and seamless manner. Your way with words is just impeccable and has a softness and philosophical touch that gives an idea of how you have such a deep soul and heart for everyone. I love “ married or childless it matters not.” Well said

Such beautiful meaningful words. Imagine what an amazing world this would be if this was the creed of every man, woman and child on earth. A utopia of friendship, acceptance, understanding, tolerance and love. Las you have covered all our foibles. I pray that your wonderful poem becomes Gospel some day in the near future. A favorite poem for me. Applause to you my friend. SV

How beautifully and evocatively you've described, that we are all humans, all equal, all worthy of love and respect.. Everything else is materialistic but love, kindness, wisdom, togetherness and bonds are priceless.. I truly love the idea of a describing this world as a palette hued with different shades of people with different ideologies etc. But they all combine and stand as one, with humanity.. So beautiful!
