Colors

Colors
Color me moody
Color me sad
Color me angry
Color me mad
Color me fiercely
Color me fast
I know you’re hoping
These colors will last
Whether they’re fresh
Whether they’re dark
Whether they’re vivid
Whether they’re stark
Color me cheerless
When lively I feel
Color me distant
When I have great appeal
Look at the colors
Choose wisely, I pray
Find the right color
In this vast array
Color freely and with boldness
Fear no edge and fear no line
Have your way, enjoy the moment
Don’t you worry, I’ll be fine
Though your judgments and assumptions
Paint a picture of their own
I have faith in my true colors
Even if I stand alone.
