colorful glamor seeking

Our distant cousins were going to send us their child
She’s colorful, glamour-seeking, and a little bit wild
How bad can she be? I asked my dubious man Joe.
She’s only six and a half, let’s pick her up. Let’s go!

She was coming in on the train, and we searched for a bit.
Then we saw a conductor having words, almost a fit.
That’s her predicted my husband, and she has a rooster too.
She was wearing lipstick, our cousin, Lynda Sue Lou.

She was funny, this comedic cousin of ours.
We took her in along with her rooster named Lars.
But flew them back home, for they were kicked off the train.
Apparently, they did not want animals, so this was a drain.
