Color Dilemma

Why is jealousy Green?
Why does sadness make us Blue?
Why is a coward Yellow?
I'm not really sure, are you?

Do you really get Green with envy?
When embarrassed, do you really turn Red?
Are you in the Pink when you're happy?
I'm not really sure, like I said.

In good health you're supposed to feel Rosy.
When frightened it's said you turn White.
Real anger leaves you seeing Purple.
You're Grey and gloomy if things don't go right.

So much for these Color questions,
my intent was to remove any doubt.
But all that I did, was boggle my mind
so I'll quit before I Black out.

Why is jealousy Green?

Very well written! But its not the plain colours that catch my imagination -the lovely Indigo, Burnt Sienna,Crimson, Scarlet,Prussian Blue and the Sage green of fresh leaves.
