Collided

Was going my way,
Should have stopped but continued anyway.
You were doing the same ,
However, we were unknown what a shame.
Eyes were down ,
Feet were in rush.
When you came around,
And my heart went shush.
Took a quick look,
To read your eyes.
Got scared when yours shook,
Towards me while your feet on stairs rise.
Yes we did collide ,
Though with our thoughts.
When we were standing so close,
But stepped back to not get caught.
The moment lasted a second,
But got printed in memory.
The silence it had was sweet,
And the beats were its glory.
