College

Watch me burn away my youth
College
Yeah, I learned
Swirling urinal puck love
Girls with degrees and shorts and yeast infections
Grease-fat, bubbling, fly on my fry
Missing a twenty and things that money holds no value to
It's a lime-green, shag carpet situation
My generation
Beer-puke, sticky stained jeans mean nothing now
Piss-leak creek overflowing, ever-growing
How I've tried to rise above it
And learn to love it
Ignoring right and wrong, but knowing
Frat-boy howling, virgin-fouling, prowling late at night
Sight and knowing, alcohol-flowing, wisdom-sapping plight
Seeking the light of dawn, wreaking, smoking, wrong
Bottle-broken body battle-battered bruised and dumb
Mistaken and foresaken, taken they say
I learned and burned my youth away
