Blueberries are for sad days Breezes are for days when you feel You could lift the moon Sunlight is for those subliminal moments When darkness is unfathomable Because everything is so good Cranberries are for the times when One is so angry that the fire can be felt Rising up from your soul And into your throat The bluest skies are to compare With the indifferent grey ones And my life is a collection of it all. When you hear a whisper, Be ready For someone is ready to leave you When tears fall be sure they’re Falling because they’re unwanted And when you remember your losses Try to think of what you’ve gained in spite of them And whose losses are they to begin with?
