Collected By Sunshine

Rambling of thought
                 scatters on breeze 
Collected by sunshine that naps in the trees

Some are sweet memories
                         floating on air
Some are the dreams that I dream, if I dare


Gambling of thought
                 tumbles with ease
          Carried by birdsong, an owl overseas

Many are hopeful
         for good times to share
   Many are troubled, obsessed with despair 


Scrambling of thought
                    drifts to appease
     Walking, my mind is ahead of my knees

And I am so grateful
                       as I am aware
                How lucky I am to be, anywhere
